Create an online shop matching the parent company design. With a tight budget, the shop was required to have features like product variants, online payment gateway and a basic order tracking system.
Written originally in 2005, This application was initially specified in detail working closely with the client, then the core development was outsourced to the Ukraine, and the final bug fixes and deployment was managed from Hong Kong. In 2008 the project's XUL based back-end was replaced with ExtJS (which in turn was replaced with the Roo Javascript library in 2009, with no code changes required.).
