We developed this solutions to handle bulk enquiry responses to campaigns for a large UK charity. It connects to Gmail, retrieves tagged emails, and responds with a templated canned message, along with logging the interaction against the users Salesforce record.
Using Oauth against Salesforce and Gmail, it sends multiple requests to both API's to retrieve and update messages, tags, and send the replies. Enabling staff to process incomming emails considerably faster (days into minutes), along with keeping Salesforce updated, so productivity and responsiveness analysis can be done.
